Today's Standard American Diet Equals One SAD Generation

Is the lack of nutrition from our SAD
-- Standard American Diet --
causing unnecessary illnesses?

Are we suffering from preventable heart disease, cancer, stroke, and adult onset diabetes as well as other degenerative diseases?

The U.S. Surgeon General estimates that today's standard American Diet leads to the demise of
over one million Americans per year!

That's about half of yearly statistics that might
very well be classified as "disease by design."

(OUCH!)

Maybe it's time we woke up to the fact that diet (especially living superfoods) as well as exercise are the most effective treatments in

-- fighting diseases --

-- even chronic degenerative diseases.

Surely, what causes diseases promotes diseases.

So, if we eliminate the malnutrition of our modern diet --

-- or at least start feeding our bodies healthier living superfoods...

...then our healing mechanisms could take over.

This will surely result in improved health and might even begin the recovery from the effects of "disease by design."

One thing is for sure, though. Our S.A.D. isn't causing economic suicide for the drug companies. Do you have any idea what it's costing Americans to keep up this unhealthy lifestyle?

The lifestyle and diet deficiency of today was not common or even existant in the lives of our ancestors -- or even primitive people today.

Not only were they not worried about all the health concerns that we face today, neither were they troubled about the costs of treating those problems.

These SAD dietary changes are not good for us, either. As the American diet has changed, so has our health. Americans now lead the world in obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

In fact, consumption of the Standard American Diet constitutes a chronic metabolic abuse.

Is there something we can do?? Are there diet choices we can make??

Is it possible to live healthier and possibly even reverse the downward trend of a society gone "out-of-balance"? Do we have to be headed toward early graves and/or sedentary nursing homes?

When was the last time you came home from a doctor's visit with a "prescription" for living superfoods as a remedy for healthier living. (See Thomas Edison's 100 year old prediction about the future of medicine.)

WE CAN DO BETTER!

The SAD truth about the our choices is that most of us simply do not equate what we eat with how we feel -- either physically or emotionally.

My desire is that we finally learn the "dirty" truth and change our thinking about our nutrition and what we're eating as well as how we are living (or, SAD to say, diseasing away).
