Dark green leafy vegetables are meant for the overall development of your child's growth. Some of the minerals and vitamins present in greens cannot be supplemented by any other food source.

Even if your child creates a fuss, you might just help keep your healthy kid away from deadly diseases down the road like cancer and heart disease through these superfoods.

Of course, not all superfoods for kids are yellow or green.

In fact, it is entirely wrong to keep your child away from chocolates,
although it's a slight misnomer to call all chocolates a superfood.



However, researchers have proven that healthy dark chocolate is a very rich superfood and a "must" for growing children. Theobromine, for example, is a key component of dark chocolate which regulates the function of hormones and helps control blood pressure.
